The CoE brings together Oxford University academic staff from across disciplines and acts as a hub for academic-industry collaboration to innovate and discover solutions, to address long-term carbon-neutral targets, help mitigate the effects of global warming, and to benefit society and communities. We encourage ground-breaking collaborations between University researchers working at the frontiers of knowledge to carry out world-leading research.
At the CoE, we strive to find solutions to the most pressing global challenges we face in the 21st century. This aim requires breakthroughs, joint effort and seeking integrated results. We strongly believe that collaborations are essential to finding solutions for these challenges. To achieve this goal, as the CoE, we invite researchers from different departments with diverse backgrounds and a wide variety of know-how to innovate with us with the belief that breaking boundaries and innovative collaborations can help to solve the global challenges of our time together.
We have five strategic research themes: Circular Economy, Carbon Dioxide Management, Green Hydrogen, Low Carbon Feedstocks, and Materials for Environmental Sustainability.
We seek to foster and advance collaborations as well as leveraging our partner’s influence to increase our impact and are always interested in discussing support for existing projects, as well as exploring new projects and collaborations that draw on expertise from across the collegiate University and beyond.
